Clean tiny white dots scattered across an old print
Small white pits are scattered across the sky and the faces of many old prints, often a sign of bubbles or dust in the emulsion. Send a scan and the bot fills each pit with the tone around it and keeps real detail like freckles.

Make it in TelegramDots versus detail
Freckles, earrings, stars and sparkling water look much like pinholes at a small scale. The bot judges by shape, size and context, and it can mistake a real feature for a flaw. Name features that matter, such as freckles or buttons, in the caption, then compare the result with the scan in those areas. Dark backgrounds show the most dots and also clean up well.
Where they come from
Pinholes in negatives and prints can come from dust or bubbles at the time of development, or from small flakes of emulsion that came away later. They often cover the whole picture evenly, which makes manual spotting very slow. Cleaning the scanner glass before each session removes dust that adds to them. If a negative exists, rescan it, since a print of a flawed negative usually inherits all the dots.
Tips
- Say whether the dots are white on a dark picture.
- Name features that must stay, such as freckles.
- Scan at a high resolution so dots are separated from detail.
- Clean the glass before scanning.
Questions and answers
Is this different from dust removal?
Dust is usually irregular. Pinholes are small and round and follow a pattern.
Will fine grain stay?
It aims to keep grain and remove only the dots.
What does it cost?
2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.

- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
