Rebuild a smooth picture from a harsh photocopy
Sometimes all that remains of an old picture is a photocopy made decades ago. It is high in contrast, streaked and missing the middle grays. Send a photo of the copy and the bot restores a smooth tonal range and calms the streaks.

Make it in TelegramWhat a copy loses
A photocopier turns the soft grays of a photograph into a few levels of black and white. The middle tones are gone, and no software can recover them exactly. The bot rebuilds a believable scale from the shapes that are left. Expect a nicer face and a natural feel, and remember that skin tone and hair detail are reconstructed, so keep the copy as a record of the original.
A last record
A copy can be the only surviving trace of a photograph, for example an old passport photo or a picture from a lost album. Keep it, scan it and note where it came from. Ask relatives if anyone has the original or a better copy. If you find one, send that one instead, since the original print will always give a better result than a copy of it.
Tips
- Crop away the dark page edges.
- Send the best copy if you have several.
- Mention if text on the page should stay.
- Keep the paper copy as a record.
Questions and answers
Can the bot add color?
You can ask for a colorized version, and the colors are a guess.
Will the faces be accurate?
They will be plausible. Compare them with other pictures of the person.
What does it cost?
2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.
What the bot does not do
- Does not print photos and does not retouch passport or ID photos.
- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
- Heavily damaged faces are reconstructed by AI and may not look like the person. Compare with another photo.
- Does not make video or animate the photo.
