Google Display banner sizes and how to create the image
Display ad sets ask for several sizes. The bot makes a wide 16:9 image from your description, and you crop it to the sizes your ad platform asks for. Treat the sizes below as guidelines and check the current list in Google Ads.

Make it in TelegramOne image, many crops
A 16:9 image can be cropped into some banner shapes, but very thin leaderboards or tall skyscrapers cut a lot. Ask the bot for a central subject with simple surroundings, then crop for each size. For a thin shape, extra empty background on both sides helps. If crops lose important parts, run a second prompt that composes the scene for that shape in words, such as a tall vertical stack.
Text policies
Google Ads has rules on how much text an image may contain and what claims it can make. The bot does not check them. Keep the image mostly visual, put offers in the ad text fields and read the policy for your category. Sensitive categories such as health, finance or legal services have extra rules, so describe a neutral scene and let the ad text follow the policy.
Tips
- Common sizes people list include 300×250, 728×90, 160×600 and 320×50. Verify the current ones in Google Ads.
- Responsive display ads let you upload a landscape and a square image, so make both.
- Keep text out of the image when the platform asks for separate headlines.
- Place the subject in the center so crops to tall or thin shapes still work.
