White versus transparent

If you need a transparent PNG for a design, use a dedicated cutout tool after this step or paint the backdrop you plan to key out. Simple subjects such as bottles, shoes, mugs and portraits give the cleanest edges, while tangled objects need a closer look at the result.

Hard cases

Glass, smoke and fine hair lose fidelity on any tool. The bot reconstructs edges instead of tracing them, which often looks better than a harsh cut, but zoom in and check before publishing. If you plan to place the subject on another picture later, ask for a plain light-grey backdrop, which is the easiest color to remove cleanly in any editor afterwards. Run a second attempt when a detail is lost, and describe it in the caption, for example 'keep the thin handle of the cup'. Specific wording fixes most small problems.
