A booth strip is only a few centimeters wide, so the faces are small. Scan at the highest resolution your scanner allows. A phone picture works for a first draft but loses fine detail. After cleaning, the bot can leave faces soft, so run the sharpen mode on the single frame you want to print. Handle the original print by the edges and store it in an acid-free sleeve away from sunlight and damp.
Working frame by frame
The four frames show slight changes in expression. Choose the one with the clearest face and restore that frame on its own for a better result. You can also run the whole strip first, then crop. Either way, keep the original scan, because the strip is the family record. Compare faces with other photos of the same person, since the AI works from patterns and a rebuilt face may not match exactly.

- Scan at 1200 dpi when you can, the frames are small.
- Crop each frame after restoration and handle them as separate pictures.
