Restore a faded cyanotype
A cyanotype has a deep Prussian blue that fades to a pale teal in light. Some people love the color, others want a normal gray picture. Send a scan, say which you prefer, and the bot reworks the contrast so the shapes read again.

Make it in TelegramBlue or neutral
Cyanotypes are often botanical studies, plans or family snapshots from around 1900. The blue is part of the process, so many archivists keep it. For a memorial card or a book page, a neutral gray can read better. Ask for each version in separate requests and look at them side by side. The cost is two credits per image, and you will see right away which one fits the use.
Fine lines
Cyanotype lines are thin and often botanical. Veins on a leaf or window bars on a house vanish first. A strong cleanup can erase them. Ask the bot to keep the lines and then enlarge the result to check. Where a line disappears, rerun with a short note naming it. If a print is a plant specimen, compare the final with an actual leaf image to be sure the outline did not change.
Tips
- Decide first between blue and neutral.
- Scan without auto color correction.
- Mention if the subject is a plant or a building.
- Keep the blue master and make gray copies from it.
Questions and answers
Can it colorize a cyanotype?
Yes, but name the real colors of the subject, since the blue hides them.
Why is my cyanotype turning green?
Fading and storage conditions change the tone. The bot works from the scan you give it.
What does it cost?
2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.
What the bot does not do
- Does not print photos and does not retouch passport or ID photos.
- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
- Heavily damaged faces are reconstructed by AI and may not look like the person. Compare with another photo.
- Does not make video or animate the photo.
