Colorize an old landscape photo with natural color
Landscapes carry color in big areas: sky, grass, water, rock. That is easier to guess than a face, so results are often believable. Send a clear scan and say the season and the region if you know them.
- 2 credits per image
- Result in 1–2 minutes
- No sign-up
In short: Add natural color to an old black and white landscape: sky, trees, water and fields from a scan. Telegram bot, 7 images free for new users, no sign-up.
- Where: the VisuMate bot in Telegram, no app or sign-up.
- Cost: 2 credits per image, 7 images free, then packs from 49 Telegram Stars.
- Time: 1 to 2 minutes per image, rerun with a new instruction at the same price.
- Credits never expire, there is no subscription and no auto-renew. You pay once for a pack inside Telegram with Stars.
When you need this
- The scene is grey and you cannot picture the season.
- Old farm photos lost their color range in print.
- You want a framed picture of the family place.
How to do it
- 1
Press the button to open @visumate_ai_bot in Telegram. No sign-up, and new users get 15 free credits, which is 7 images.
- 2
Send the scan as a file. In the caption write: 'colorize this old landscape, late summer, green fields, blue sky with soft clouds, brown wooden barn, natural muted colors'.
- 3
In 1-2 minutes the colorized image arrives for 2 credits. Check sky, water and plant colors.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramSeason and place
The same hill looks different in May and October. Tell the bot the season and one or two known colors, and the rest falls into place. If you do not know, ask for 'natural muted colors' and compare two runs. The bot invents color, so treat it as a plausible version of the scene, not as a record. A short note about the real place helps if you later print the picture.
Details to check
Look at the horizon line, the shadows and the water. If the sky and the field have a mismatch in light, rerun with the time of day. Buildings, fences and signs deserve a quick check against what you know of the place. A framed print of the colorized view looks great in a hallway, and the grey original can sit in the album next to it.
Tips
- Name the season and the time of day.
- Mention special colors you remember, such as a red roof.
- Ask for muted colors for an old-photo feel.
- Restore scratches first if the print is damaged.
