Repair a torn photo
Place the torn pieces edge to edge on a plain background, photograph them once and send the picture. The bot hides the tear lines and fills small gaps with content that fits.

BeforeAfter
In short: Join the pieces on a flat surface, take one picture and the AI fills the gap and tear lines so the photo looks whole again.
- Where: the VisuMate bot in Telegram, no app or sign-up.
- Cost: 2 credits per image, 7 images free, then packs from 49 Telegram Stars.
- Time: 1 to 2 minutes per image, rerun with a new instruction at the same price.
When you need this
- A photo ripped in half during a move and was kept in two pieces.
- A tear runs through the face of a relative.
- Several small pieces survived but one corner is missing.
How to do it
- 1
Tap the button on this page. Telegram opens the bot, press Start and the right mode is already selected.
- 2
Send the scan or phone picture as a file (document) so Telegram does not compress it. In the caption describe the tear, for example: photo was torn in two, join along the diagonal line.
- 3
Wait 1-2 minutes for the result. Zoom in on the damaged areas, and if one is still visible, send it again with a more exact caption.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramJoining the pieces before the AI sees them
The bot cannot match torn edges from separate pictures. It works from one image. Put the pieces together on a plain light sheet so the edges almost touch, and photograph the result. Small gaps along the tear get closed. Where a larger piece is missing, the AI draws something plausible, which may be a wall, a field or part of a coat. If the edges are curled, flatten them gently first. A tear that follows the edge of a person's head or arm closes more cleanly than one through the middle of a face.
What to expect on faces
If the tear crosses a face, the AI reconstructs a thin strip. That strip can look right yet slightly change the expression. Look at eyes, nose and mouth in full size, and keep your original photo for comparison. If the likeness is off, try again with a note in the caption, or bring the pieces closer in the photo. If the first result is close but not right, change the caption a little and send the picture again.
Tips
- Align the pieces as tightly as you can on a white sheet, do not tape them.
- Photograph from straight above in daylight, no flash.
- The wider the gap, the more the AI invents. Mention what should be there if you know.
- Keep the original pieces safe after you have the digital copy.
Questions and answers
Can it fix a photo torn into many pieces?
It can try, but the more pieces and gaps there are, the more the AI has to invent.
Does the bot join pieces by itself?
No. Join them on a flat surface before taking the picture.
Do I get the original size?
You get a fresh image generated from your upload, so check the resolution before printing.
Is it safe to tape the pieces?
Tape can mark the print. Hold them flat under glass instead.
