When you need this
- A photo album from an attic has spots on nearly every page.
- Dots of mold sit on a face and hide the eyes.
- You want to save the picture but do not want to touch the moldy print more than needed.
How to do it
- 1
Use the button on this page to open the bot in Telegram, then press Start. Your 15 free credits appear on first launch.
- 2
Send the scan or phone picture as a file (document) so Telegram does not compress it. In the caption write: many small dark spots from mold, keep faces and clothes unchanged.
- 3
Wait 1-2 minutes for the result. Zoom in on the damaged areas, and if one is still visible, send it again with a more exact caption.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramHandle with care
Mold can be a health concern, so keep prints away from your face and wash your hands after. Photograph or scan the print in a clean place without touching the surface more than needed. The digital copy lets you work on the picture without damaging the paper further. Store the digital file on a clean drive and keep the print in a dry, cool place afterward, away from the other photos.
What the bot does with spots
Mold shows up as noise on top of the picture, from tiny dots to wide patches. The AI replaces spotted areas using the surrounding image. Dozens of tiny dots disappear well. Large patches over a face are rebuilt, and may change small features. If you plan to print the result, check eyes, mouth and hairline first. Mold often spreads unevenly, with clusters near edges and corners, and those clusters are the easiest zones for the AI to repair.
Tips
- Wear a mask and gloves when handling moldy prints, and work outdoors or in a ventilated room.
- Digitize first, then decide what to do with the physical print.
- Spots on faces are the hardest to fix, check them closely at full size.
- Do not rub the surface. A soft brush and a scan are safer than cleaning.
