Make it in TelegramSpace for the main elements
A thumbnail needs a focal point, a face or an object, and a short title. A background should support them. Ask for a clean zone on one side and a bold scene on the other. Use two or three saturated colors. Avoid detail that disappears at small size. View the result at about a hundred pixels wide to test it. Make two backgrounds with different colors for the same video and compare them in a small preview before you upload.
Finish in an editor
The bot gives you the background. Add your face, an arrow or a short title in a photo editor, where you control fonts and placement. Keep titles to three or four words. The same background style across a video series builds recognition. Check YouTube's rules, since misleading thumbnails can harm your channel. Keep a folder of backgrounds that worked well, and reuse the best ones across similar videos in a series.
Tips
- Leave one side empty for your face or the title.
- Use high contrast and bold colors.
- Keep it simple, thumbnails are small.
- Test on a phone-size preview.
