Clean the coarse grain from an old print blown up too large
A tiny snapshot enlarged to eight by ten shows each grain of silver as a rough dot, and edges lose their bite. Send a photo of the enlargement and the bot calms the grain and restores edges on eyes and hair.

How to do it
- 1
Press the button to open @visumate_ai_bot in Telegram. No sign-up, and new users get 15 free credits, which is 7 images.
- 2
Scan at 600 dpi and send it as a file. In the caption write: 'reduce coarse grain, keep fine skin texture, sharpen eyes and hair edges, do not make the face waxy'.
- 3
In 1-2 minutes you get the cleaner image for 2 credits. Look at a flat area such as a wall or sky and compare its smoothness with the skin.

Make it in TelegramRemoving grain without wax
Too much smoothing gives faces the look of plastic. The bot treats flat areas more strongly than skin and leaves a layer of fine texture where it matters. Edges are rebuilt from the direction of nearby lines, so an eyelash follows its curve. A little grain returns at the end, since a perfectly smooth portrait from the 1950s looks wrong.
Original or enlargement
If the tiny original still exists, scan it at high resolution and compare the two. Often the small print holds more real detail than the enlargement, because it avoids the second generation of grain. The bot can start from either one. Use the enlargement if the small print is lost, and describe the case in the caption so the process stays simple.
Tips
- Scan the enlargement, not a copy of it.
- If the small original exists, scan that as well.
- Mention the print size in the caption.
- Request a light grain so the picture feels like film.
Questions and answers
Will the grain return when I print?
A little may, and that is natural for a vintage look.
Is this the same as upscaling?
Related, though here the grain is the main problem.
What does it cost?
2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.
What the bot does not do
- Does not print photos and does not retouch passport or ID photos.
- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
- Heavily damaged faces are reconstructed by AI and may not look like the person. Compare with another photo.
- Does not make video or animate the photo.
