Make a soft photo of an old letter or certificate readable
A family letter or a birth certificate photographed on a bed in poor light comes out soft and tilted, with ink that has turned brown. Send the picture and the bot sharpens the strokes and evens the light across the page.

How to do it
- 1
Press the button to open @visumate_ai_bot in Telegram. No sign-up, and new users get 15 free credits, which is 7 images.
- 2
Send the photo as a file. In the caption write: 'sharpen this old handwritten letter, even the light across the page, keep the ink color and the stamp'.
- 3
In 1-2 minutes the sharper page arrives for 2 credits. Read a few words aloud from the result and compare them with the original.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramInk, paper and light
Iron-gall ink turns brown and the paper yellows, so the contrast shrinks over time. The bot raises the difference between ink and paper and keeps stroke shapes. It will not rewrite a word it cannot see, because a wrong letter in a date or a name would mislead you. In doubtful places, the result stays soft instead of showing a confident error.
Keeping the record
For genealogy, the transcription matters as much as the picture. Type out names, dates and places in a separate file and note the uncertain readings. Store the original photo, the sharpened version and the transcript together. If the document is official, ask the archive or the registry for a certified copy, because a restored picture is useful for reading but does not replace the paper.
Tips
- Shoot straight above the page, not at an angle.
- Use daylight, not a flash.
- Photograph each page on its own.
- Transcribe uncertain words and mark them.
Questions and answers

What the bot does not do
- Does not print photos and does not retouch passport or ID photos.
- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
- Heavily damaged faces are reconstructed by AI and may not look like the person. Compare with another photo.
- Does not make video or animate the photo.
