Enlarging a tiny face

A small face has little information, so the bot has to infer eyes and hair. That makes the result a careful reconstruction built from a very small original. Ask for a natural result and compare it with relatives who look similar. If it feels too smooth, rerun with 'keep grain, minimal smoothing'. A few tries often produce one that feels right.

Using the result

The portrait works for a memorial page, a family tree, a funeral program or a frame on a shelf. State in your notes that it was reconstructed from a small document photo. Do not use it as an official document picture, since the bot interprets detail. For genealogy, keep the original scan and the restored version together with the year and the issuing office from the card.
