Make shop signs and street names readable in an old photo
A sign in the background can tell you the name of the shop, the town or the year. Send a scan and the bot sharpens the lettering. If you already know the words, put them in the caption and the letters will follow.

Make it in TelegramA guess is not proof
When letters are very small, the bot can draw shapes that look like readable text and may not be what was written. Use the result as a lead, not as a fact. Confirm names with other sources, such as directories, maps and records of the place. If the lettering is clear in a high resolution scan, the result is more reliable than from a small file.
How to help the bot
Give context. If you know that the shop was a bakery or a pharmacy, say so. If you know the street, say so. Context narrows down what the lettering might be and avoids odd shapes. A second scan at a higher resolution, or a scan of the negative, gives the most to work with. Zooming into the sign yourself before sending shows how much detail the original really holds.
Tips
- Crop to the sign and send that too.
- Scan at the highest resolution.
- Give your best guess for the words.
- Check the result against local directories.
