Restore a photo with a damaged face
When part of a face is torn, scratched out or eaten by mold, the bot rebuilds it. Because the missing area has no data, the rebuilt part is the AI's invention and may not look like the person. This page is for cases where the damage is heavy.
- 2 credits per image
- Result in 1–2 minutes
- No sign-up
BeforeAfter
In short: Restore a photo where the face is torn, scratched or worn away. What gets rebuilt, what gets guessed, and how to check likeness. From 49 Stars.
- Where: the VisuMate bot in Telegram, no app or sign-up.
- Cost: 2 credits per image, 7 images free, then packs from 49 Telegram Stars.
- Time: 1 to 2 minutes per image, rerun with a new instruction at the same price.
- Credits never expire, there is no subscription and no auto-renew. You pay once for a pack inside Telegram with Stars.
When you need this
- A tear or crease runs across the eyes or mouth.
- Mold or water has eaten part of the face.
- Only one photo of the person exists.
How to do it
- 1
Follow the button on this page into the bot and press Start. The restore mode opens.
- 2
Send the scan as a file (document). In the caption describe the person and damage: "restore the missing part of the face, man in his 50s, keep the hair and the suit".
- 3
After 1-2 minutes the restored image comes back. Check it against any other picture of the person, then decide whether to use it.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramRebuilt is different from recovered
Where the original still shows a faint outline of the eye or the lip, the bot follows it and the result can stay close to the person. Where nothing is left, the AI builds a typical face that fits the age, the pose and the lighting. It will look natural. It can look like someone else. Call it a reconstruction, and label it as one if you share it.
Helping the result along
The caption matters more here than anywhere else. Give the age range, hair, beard or glasses, and what the person wore. If you have a second picture, mention the features that picture shows. A rerun with better hints costs the same as the first run and often lands closer. If the face still feels wrong, keep the rest of the repair and let someone retouch the face by hand.
Before you print or share
Open the file at full size and check the eyes first, then the mouth and the hairline. For a frame, a memorial or a funeral program, show it to a relative before it is printed. The bot does not print and does not retouch passport or ID photos. It returns an image at a good resolution for screens and small prints, so check for smearing at large sizes.
Tips
- Mention age, hair and features you remember in the caption. That gives the AI direction.
- Ask a relative who knew the person to look at the result.
- Keep the original scan and the restored file together, with a note on which is which.
- Do not print a memorial copy before a close relative has approved the face.
Questions and answers
Will the face look like my relative?
If a faint trace of the face remains, often close. If most is missing, the result may not look like the person.
Can I give the bot another photo of the person?
The mode works from one photo. Use the caption to describe features from other pictures.
Is a rerun free?
No. A rerun is charged like a new run, 2 credits.
Is it safe to print the result?
Check carefully first and show a relative who knew the person.
Can the bot fix an ID photo?
No. It does not retouch passport or ID photos.
What the bot does not do
- Does not print photos and does not retouch passport or ID photos.
- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
- Heavily damaged faces are reconstructed by AI and may not look like the person. Compare with another photo.
- Does not make video or animate the photo.
