- Where: the VisuMate bot in Telegram, no app or sign-up.
- Cost: 2 credits per image, 7 images free, then packs from 49 Telegram Stars.
- Time: 1 to 2 minutes per image, rerun with a new instruction at the same price.
When you need this
- A class photo from the 1970s has a fold through the second row.
- Faces in the back row are tiny and blurred by damage.
- You want copies for an anniversary reunion.
How to do it
- 1
Use the button on this page to open the bot in Telegram, then press Start. Your 15 free credits appear on first launch.
- 2
Send the scan or phone picture as a file (document) so Telegram does not compress it. In the caption write: school class photo, repair scratches and folds, keep all faces unchanged.
- 3
In 1-2 minutes the repaired photo arrives in the chat. Download it, compare it with the original and run again if a spot was missed.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramMany small faces
In a group photo each face covers only a few hundred pixels. The AI works on the whole picture, so tiny faces get less attention than a close portrait. Scan at a high resolution, and if the first result looks soft, try the sharpen mode on the repaired picture. Check a few faces in each row at full size. Send the scan as a file in Telegram so the picture is not compressed, and keep the untouched original in a separate folder for comparison.
Names and reunions
A restored class photo is useful for a reunion. Make a copy with numbers or names added outside the picture, such as in a separate document, rather than writing on the image. Keep the original scan, because the damaged version may include handwritten names on the back that classmates can help read. A better scan helps more than any setting, so rescan the print at 600 dpi or higher if you still have it.
Tips
- Scan at 600 dpi or higher, small faces need detail.
- If faces in the back row are blurry, run the sharpen mode afterward.
- Check the captions and names on the border, and keep them in the scan.
- Send the picture to classmates for help naming everyone.
Questions and answers
Will small faces stay accurate?
The AI aims to keep them, but tiny ones may change slightly. Check them.
Can I colorize a class photo?
Yes, but keep a black-and-white copy as well.
What if the photo is large?
Scan it in sections or use a big scanner. A phone picture works for smaller prints.
How many credits?
2 credits per run.
