Make it in TelegramSoft faces are tricky
Infant faces have few lines and soft shapes, so the AI can make them look too smooth or too sharp. Look at the nose, lips and eyes against the original. If the baby looks like a different child, run again with keep original look in the caption. Save every version in the same folder and add the year and the names to the file name so nothing gets mixed up later.
Photos for a baby book
A restored baby picture works in a modern baby book as a section on the parent's early life. Keep the original scan, write the date on the back of the print in pencil if it is missing, and add a note about who took the photo. If you want, produce a colorized copy for the book and keep the black-and-white as well.
Tips
- Babies have smooth skin, so over-smoothing is easy to spot. Compare skin texture to the original.
- Check eyes and hairline, they are tiny and easily changed.
- Keep studio frames and decorative borders if you like them.
- Share the restored picture with grandparents for confirmation.
