Make it in TelegramSoft by nature
Instant film has a low resolution and a dreamy softness. The sharpen mode adds edge detail, and some of it will be a guess. Look at the result as a whole and decide whether you like the new clarity or prefer the original mood. Save every version in the same folder and add the year and the names to the file name so nothing gets mixed up later.
Small format, high dpi
A Polaroid image is about three inches wide. Scan it at 1200 dpi to capture as much as possible. If you only have a phone picture, shoot it in daylight, flat and with no glare on the glossy surface. Take your time with the result and look at it at full size on a computer, because small details are easy to miss on a phone screen.
Tips
- Scan the whole print with the border.
- Hold the scan at 1200 dpi for such a small print.
- Color shifts can be handled with the repair mode.
- Keep the original in a dark sleeve.
