Corners tend to have walls, skies, curtains or floors, which are simple to continue. The AI paints a plausible background and blends it with the existing image. The closer the gap is to the people, the more the AI has to decide, so the caption helps more there. A corner with a large part of a building or a tree is harder, because the AI needs to guess its shape. Tell it what the object was if you remember.
Planning the final shape
If you want a straight, clean edge, tell the bot in the caption. Otherwise the result may keep a slightly irregular border. For framing and printing, you can crop the final image yourself. Keep the original scan so you can compare what was added. The bot works on the digital image, so the original print is not touched. Treat the result as a careful interpretation of the original and share it together with the untouched scan.
Tips
- Scan on a dark background so the missing area is clear.
- Say what should continue into the gap, for example sky, wall or floor.
- Write no new people if you do not want the AI to add figures in the corner.
- Check that the gap is not hiding a person who was partly cut off.
