Clean fly specks and insect marks from an old photo
A picture that hung on a wall or lay in an attic for decades may carry dark dots that look like pepper. They land on faces, shirts and the sky alike. Send a photo of the print and the bot removes the dots and fills the spots with the texture around them.

When you need this
- Tiny dark dots cover a face and a white dress.
- Cleaning with a cloth might scratch the emulsion.
- The speckles are different in size, so one filter does not catch them all.
How to do it
- 1
Press the button to open @visumate_ai_bot in Telegram. No sign-up, and new users get 15 free credits, which is 7 images.
- 2
Photograph the print flat in daylight and send it as a file. In the caption write: 'remove fly specks and insect marks, keep skin texture and the fabric pattern, do not blur the face'.
- 3
In 1-2 minutes the cleaned image arrives for 2 credits. Zoom into cheeks and white clothes, where repaired dots show most easily.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramWhy one filter is not enough
Automatic dust tools in scanners handle small round dots on film but they smear detail on a print. Specks on a face are best treated with care so the pores and wrinkles remain. The bot looks at the context around each mark and rebuilds it from nearby pixels. Large clusters get a more generic fill, and it is worth checking those on the final image at full size.
Storing the print afterwards
Insect marks are a hint that the storage place is not ideal. Move the original to an acid free sleeve, keep it flat and away from windows and radiators. Do not hang a favorite photograph without glass and a spacer. A restored print on matte paper makes a better wall picture, and the original stays in the drawer where it will last.
Tips
- Do not wipe the print before shooting it.
- Shoot at an angle once more if glossy glare hides the dots.
- Ask for texture to stay on skin so it does not look waxy.
- Keep the original file as proof of the print's condition.
Questions and answers
Can the bot remove mold as well?
Mold has its own page. Describe both problems and the bot will treat them together.
Will it blur skin?
Ask it to keep texture. A short caption makes a visible difference.
What does it cost?
2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.
What the bot does not do
- Does not print photos and does not retouch passport or ID photos.
- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
- Heavily damaged faces are reconstructed by AI and may not look like the person. Compare with another photo.
- Does not make video or animate the photo.
