Smooth the dot pattern of a printed photograph
A photograph printed in a book or a magazine is built from tiny dots. A scan of it shows a grid and a pattern that gets worse when resized. Send a photo of the page and the bot smooths the dots and recovers faces and shapes.

Make it in TelegramWhy a dot pattern is hard
Printers make gray tones from dots of different sizes, and a scanner picks up both the picture and the screen. Resizing makes a ripple, a moire. The bot treats the image as a face first and a dot grid second, so it can rebuild detail that the print never held in full. Eyes and teeth benefit, and fine fabric patterns are guessed. Larger scans give it more to work from.
Pictures that exist only in print
Many local histories and school books hold the only picture of a person. If you have the right to copy it, scan the page carefully and treat the cleaned version as a working copy. Name the book, the page and the year in the file name. If you plan to publish it, check who holds the rights first. The original book stays on the shelf, and the restored picture goes into your family file.
Tips
- Crop to the picture only if the page layout does not matter.
- Scan at a higher resolution than you think you need.
- Keep the page flat, since a curl spoils the dots pattern.
- Mention if it is a newspaper, which has coarser dots.
Questions and answers

It keeps it where it can. For best results crop to the picture.
Why is my result still soft?
Printed dots hold limited detail. A bigger scan helps.

2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.
What the bot does not do
- Does not print photos and does not retouch passport or ID photos.
- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
- Heavily damaged faces are reconstructed by AI and may not look like the person. Compare with another photo.
- Does not make video or animate the photo.
