Remove the band marks from a stack of old prints
Rubber bands were the cheapest way to keep a bundle of prints together. Years later the band has dried out, stuck to the top picture and pressed a groove across all of them. Send a photo of the print and the bot smooths the line and rebuilds what it covered.

- The top print of the bundle is worse than the rest.
How to do it
- 1
Press the button to open @visumate_ai_bot in Telegram. No sign-up, and new users get 15 free credits, which is 7 images.
- 2
Photograph the print under a light placed to one side so the groove shows, then once more in flat light. Send the flat shot as a file. In the caption write: 'remove the rubber band groove and the sticky strip, keep faces and clothes natural'.
- 3
In 1-2 minutes the repaired image arrives for 2 credits. Look along the line where the band lay and check that the picture does not step or shift.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramGroove, residue and gloss
Perished rubber melts into a sticky film, and the pressure of the band leaves a dent that catches light. In a photo the dent shows as a pale or shiny stripe. The bot treats the stripe as damage and the film as a stain, then fills both from the picture around them. If the line crosses a face, the repair is a careful guess, and the result is worth a second look.
Separating a stuck bundle
Prints that are glued together by old rubber should be photographed as they are and handled as little as possible. A conservator can separate them safely. A repaired digital copy of the top picture is useful in the meantime and gives you something to show relatives. Afterwards store each print in its own sleeve with a sheet of paper between neighbors, and never use a band again.
Tips
- Do not peel the rubber off by hand.
- Photograph the whole bundle before you separate it.
- Mention which print sat at the top.
- Handle each picture by its edges.
Questions and answers
Can it repair the pictures under the top one?
Only the ones you can photograph. Bundles stuck together need a conservator first.
Does the bot remove the sticky residue?
It removes how it looks in the picture. The residue on the paper itself needs a conservator.
What does it cost?
2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.
What the bot does not do

- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
- Heavily damaged faces are reconstructed by AI and may not look like the person. Compare with another photo.
- Does not make video or animate the photo.
