Pull the orange tint out of a faded color print
Color prints from the 1970s and 1980s often fade toward orange as the cyan and blue dyes disappear first. Send a scan and the bot rebalances the colors so skin, sky and clothes look natural again.

Make it in TelegramWhy the cast is orange
Color prints use cyan, magenta and yellow dyes, and they do not fade at the same speed. When cyan weakens, red and orange dominate. The bot estimates what neutral gray should look like in your scene and shifts the balance toward it. It cannot know every real color, so a red car or a green dress is judged from context. Mention important colors if you remember them.
Check against a reference
The best way to judge the result is to compare it with something you know. A white sheet, a wedding dress, the sky or a pair of jeans work well. If one picture in the set looks right, use it as a guide and ask for the same feeling on the others. Prints from one roll usually faded in a similar way, so one correction often fits the whole set.
Tips
- Name one thing that should be white or gray.
- Say what the sky color was, if you remember.
- Do not boost saturation before sending.
- Scan the print at the same settings as the others in the box.
