Fix an accidental double exposure
On old cameras the film often did not advance, and two scenes landed on the same frame: a birthday table with a street behind it, a face over a landscape. Send a scan, say which scene you care about, and the bot pushes the other one back.
- 2 credits per image
- Result in 1–2 minutes
- No sign-up
In short: Separate or reduce an accidental double exposure on an old snapshot, where two scenes overlap on one frame. Telegram bot, 7 images free for new users.
- Where: the VisuMate bot in Telegram, no app or sign-up.
- Cost: 2 credits per image, 7 images free, then packs from 129 Telegram Stars.
- Time: 1 to 2 minutes per image, rerun with a new instruction at the same price.
- Credits never expire, there is no subscription and no auto-renew. You pay once for a pack inside Telegram with Stars.
When you need this
- A relative's portrait is overlaid with a mountain view.
- Two sets of people are standing in the same room.
- Half the picture shows lines from a second picture.
How to do it
- 1
Press the button to open @visumate_ai_bot in Telegram. No sign-up, and new users get 15 free credits, which is 7 images.
- 2
Send the scan as a file. In the caption write: 'double exposure, keep the portrait of the woman in the front, reduce the faint street scene behind her, clean sky, keep her dress and face'.
- 3
In 1-2 minutes the result arrives for 2 credits. Order a second version that keeps the other scene to compare.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramChoose a main scene
Software cannot perfectly pull apart two pictures, because the pixels are already mixed. The best approach is to say what you want and let the bot reduce the other. Write the main subject and the secondary scene in simple words. If the first result keeps ghost lines, rerun with a more specific description of what to remove, such as 'faint tree branches over her face'.
A happy accident
Some double exposures turn out to be lovely, with a face drifting across a garden. If you like it, keep it and only clean the damage and the color. Many families discover that the overlap tells a better story than either picture alone. Make one cleaned copy that keeps both scenes and one that favors the portrait, then choose which to print.
Tips
- Decide which scene matters to you.
- Describe both scenes briefly in the caption.
- Run once for each scene and keep both.
- Check faces for ghost outlines.
Questions and answers
Can the bot fully separate the two?
It can reduce one scene, but an exact split is rarely possible.
Will the faces remain accurate?
Check them against other pictures of the person.
What does it cost?
2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.
What the bot does not do
- Does not print photos and does not retouch passport or ID photos.
- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
- Heavily damaged faces are reconstructed by AI and may not look like the person. Compare with another photo.
- Does not make video or animate the photo.
