Scanner settings

Set the scanner to 600 dpi, color mode even for black and white prints, and turn off automatic corrections you cannot control. Save the file in PNG or high-quality JPEG. A color scan keeps the tint of the paper, which helps the AI judge fading. Handle the original print by the edges and store it in an acid-free sleeve away from sunlight and damp.

Phone as scanner

If you have no scanner, place the print on a flat table by a window and photograph from straight above. Avoid shadows from your hand and glare from lamps. Several shots from slightly different angles give you spare options. If the first result is close but not right, change the caption a little and send the picture again. The bot replies in English. You can switch the language any time with /lang.

Use 600 dpi for most prints, up to 1200 for small ones.
Save as PNG or high-quality JPEG.
Clean the scanner glass.
