A person standing in front of a crowd, a patterned fence or a detailed storefront needs a larger rebuild, and the result can look slightly artificial. Check bricks, railings and signs near the removal for broken lines and repeat patterns before you share the picture.
Think before you edit
Removing a person changes the record of the scene. For private albums this is fine. For archives, museums and local history pages it is better to publish the untouched version and say that a second one was edited. Do not remove people who belong in the story just because their name is unknown. Show the edited picture to a relative who was there to see if it still feels true.
