Repair a print that tore its face when lifted from an album page
Old self-stick albums grip a print so hard that lifting it takes a layer of the picture along. The surface shows pale patches, cardboard fuzz and ragged scuffs. Send a scan of what survived and the bot fills the lost patches from the picture around them.

Make it in TelegramWhy the surface lifts
The glue under the plastic sheet bonds to the paper emulsion, and the emulsion is thinner than the cardboard it sits on. When you peel, the weakest layer gives way, so the picture comes off in flakes. The bot treats each missing flake as a gap, uses the neighbouring tones as a guide, and redraws small areas. Large gaps across a face receive a plausible guess, so check likeness against another photo of that person.
What to do with the album
Do not try to separate more prints until you have scanned the whole page as it is. A single scan of the page keeps the layout, the captions and the order of the pictures. After that, a conservator can free the prints with a thin spatula and tools made for the job. The restored files serve as your safe copies in the meantime.
Tips
- Never pull the rest of the print off the page, scan it with the page if needed.
- Brush loose fuzz away gently with a soft brush before scanning.
- Mention which side lost the most surface.
- Keep the album page in its own folder as a record.
Questions and answers
Can the bot find the lost eye?
It rebuilds the area from context, so ask for a second pass if the first looks off.
Should I peel the print for the scan?
No. Scan it in place first and send that image.
What does it cost?
2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.
What the bot does not do

- Does not promise a fixed pixel size. Check the result at full size before printing.
