Each marketplace has its own picture rules. Here are the basics in plain words, with a way to produce pictures that fit. Rules change, so confirm them in your seller account.

Amazon main images use a white background, the product fills the frame, and there is no text or logos on the cover. Etsy likes large images, about 2000 px on the shortest side. eBay asks for at least 500 px on the longest side. Check the current rules for your category, since details change. The image comes back as a vertical 3:4 picture, so check how your marketplace crops it.
Making pictures that fit
The bot makes vertical 3:4 images. Use the white background mode for main slots and the other modes for later slots. Then check the pixel size of the downloaded image against the rule for your marketplace. The bot does not upload or check your listing. A real close-up of the material or the label is still worth adding as a later picture.

Yes, send it as a document so Telegram does not compress it. A regular photo also works, but a file keeps more detail.
