Your portrait on a gold-leaf page from a medieval book
Monks once painted tiny figures on vellum with gold leaf and bright mineral colors. Send a portrait, and the bot places you in a framed medieval scene with a vine border, a flat gold sky and a decorated first letter area.

How to do it
- 1
Press the button to open @visumate_ai_bot in Telegram. No sign-up, and new users get 15 free credits, which is 7 images.
- 2
Send a front-facing photo as a file. In the caption write: 'illuminated manuscript miniature of me, flat gold leaf background, deep lapis blue and vermilion robes, thin black outlines, ivy vine border with small birds, aged cream vellum texture, no readable text'.
- 3
In 1-2 minutes the portrait arrives for 2 credits. Check the gold background and the border, which should stay flat and ornamental.
Try it on your own photo: 7 images are free, no sign-up.
Make it in TelegramFlat on purpose
Medieval painters did not use deep perspective, so a convincing page is flat, bright and slightly stiff. The face is small and calm, the clothes are patterned and the background is solid gold. If it looks like a modern fantasy illustration, rerun with 'flat gold sky, tiny stylized figure, thin outlines, no shading'. Letters in the margin will come out garbled, which is why the prompt asks for none.
Fantasy and teaching
Game groups can print the pages as character sheets, and a teacher can use one as a title slide for a unit on the Middle Ages. Add your own lettering later in a design app with a free calligraphy font. The image is an original design and does not reproduce a particular manuscript. For a series, keep the same border and change only the robe color for each person.
Tips
- Ask for flat gold with no perspective.
- Name two pigment colors, such as lapis and vermilion.
- Request a vine border with birds.
- Say no readable text.
Questions and answers
Can I get a page with a letter?
Add the letters afterwards in a design app, since generated text often misspells.
Does it suit a pet?
Yes. See the pet knight page for a medieval pet look.
What does it cost?
2 credits per image. New users get 15 free credits, so 7 images cost nothing. After that packs start at 129 Telegram Stars, about $2.6 and credits do not expire.
Does the bot work in English?
Yes. It picks up your Telegram language on first launch. You can switch it any time with /lang.
